Chapter one: Deep in thoughts
She sat there, brushing her light, delicate brown hair softly and gently with her favorite comb. She set the comb aside onto the nicely carved table, and tied her hair up, than looked at herself in the mirror. What she was seeing satisfied her, big hazel eyes staring back, light brown hair tied up in a tight neat ponytail with a little hair in the front which fell on her face but she just brushed that to the side of her face, smooth silky skin that was faired colored, and nicely shaped pink lips. She tilted her head and smiled. She looked down at her white and pink long sleeved shirt with two long beautiful fabrics hanging down in the back, and her tanned shorts. She straightened her shirt a bit and her hand reached toward her jade necklace dangling by her neck. Her eyes glowed as she held the piece of jewelry in her small hand. Zhou Yu had given it to her not long ago but three weeks after the jade bracelet she was wearing on her left wrist. She was content about her new attire. She had gotten her other dirty while trying to pick up her new Qiao Grace. She wanted to prove that she was ready to get her final weapon weapon, Fatal Grace, like her sister had gotten her final weapon, Mortal Beauty.
She sighed, she had complained and complained about the level of her fan but there was no prevail…She hadn't admitted it but she was a bit jealous that her sister had gotten her final fan before she had. In her opinion the pandas on the flag are gorgeous, her sister, however, thought that they were a nuisance while fighting but she thinks that she's just trying to act mature since Lord Sun Ce was there. It wasn't fair, Da Qiao was only a year older than she was but everyone treated her like she was at least six years older than her. This sort of thing got her angry and caused to be so reckless but she thought it couldn't be helped that her sister was more mature and beautiful than she was. She thought, clearly that was why she was given all the Beauty fans and her, the Grace.
She wondered…Did Zhou Yu truly love her or did he see her as a daughter? She clutched onto the small jewelry against her chest and shut her eyes, forcing herself from thinking of such things. Although she just pushed such matter aside, it always lingered in her mind. She sighed and stood up. She was not going to let this ruin her day. She walked toward the wooden door and opened it. Standing before her was her sister, Da Qiao, with her hand up as if she was about to knock on the door. She lowered her hand.
"Hello, Xiao. I was wondering if you wanted to help me out with planting some flowers. This place needs some color." She smiled.
"Flowers? I would love to!" Xiao squealed.
"But if we plant them you can't pick them after for Zhou Yu," Da Qiao Said.
"Aw, why not?" Xiao whined.
"My dear sister, if we pick the flowers than there is no reason to plant them in the first place…" Da sighed.
"Yea there is! To pick them for Zhou Yu!" Xiao said smiling.
"…Alright…" Da Qiao said finally admitting defeat, "Let us just go plant the flowers…"
