This fiction is made only over the manga. Because I haven't gotten very far in the Animé. (This episode actually happened to me!)

Disclaimer: I don't own D.N.Angel. (If I did it would be a shonen-ai by now...)

Spiderweb

Hiwatari fixed his glasses one more time before continuing to write on his laptop.

His apartment was always so quiet and empty, except for a few spiders that had all been squashed for invading the young boys personal space.
The young boy typed a few more letters before briefly looking out the window.
He looked at the screen again, but something caught his eye at the window again.

Something was moving over there.

He sighed and closed his laptop, remembering to save whatever he was doing of course.
He gently walked over to the windowsill where he saw it.

A spider web.

What was even more intriguing was that there was something caught in it.

A little fly.

Hiwatari knew that flies were small, but this was almost merely a baby.
He sighed and returned to the laptop, opening it quietly.

He couldn't help but to look in it's direction a few times while he was working.

"What if he really is a baby? What if he'll die of starvation?"

Hiwatari thought, completely haunted by the little life.

"Jesus! It's just a dumb little fly! So what if he dies! He's fast, sneaky and deserves to be caught, just like…"
he thought but stopped in his tracks.

He closed the laptop again, opened his school bag and took out a ruler.
He gently wiggled out the fly from the spider web, reminding himself that the spider that had lived there was long gone now.

The little fly danced around on the ruler, making it hard for Hiwatari to keep track of where the creature was.
He gently opened the window widely and positioned the ruler outside of the window.
He then quietly knocked the end of the ruler against the windowsill, forcing the little fly outside.

"Goodbye… Dark" Hiwatari said before closing the window again, putting the ruler back to it's original position, and resuming his work with the computer with a serene smile.
