Introduction:
Chapter 1: Rui goes away...
Rui heads back to Egate village after the huge disappointment of
losing her boyfriend. She tells her grandparents all about the horrible
tragity. Eagun goes on and on about how could such a nice man do this type
of thing. Rui goes up to her room. "I bet I could be a great pokemon trainer
just like Wes, and put him to shame". Rui goes downstairs and asks her
parents if she can go to the hoenn region to start her journey. Eagun
couldn't make up his mind, but finally lets her go. Rui goes.
Chapter 2: Rui starts her journey
She heads to the hoenn region. After the long boat ride on the ferry
she heads to Littleroot town. Rui goes to prof. Birch's lab to get her
pokemon. At the lab, a younger man is next to him. Rui starts to fall in
love with this man. Prof. Birch greats her, but she doesn't reply, looking
at the younger man. Prof. Birch keeps saying hello until she finally
responses. Rui apologizes and asks if she can get her pokemon.
Prof. Birch brings out a torchic, a treecko, and a mudkip. When Rui
looks she forgets about the pokemon and asks "who are you" to the younger
man. He replies "My name is Brendan and I am Prof. Birch's son"
"He is a very handy lab assistant" Prof. Birch adds
Rui then notices the pokemon next to Brendan. She asks "what is that?"
Brendan replies "It's a Swampert, my very first pokemon, boy I remember
when it was a baby mudkip." Rui chooses the mudkip to go with Brendan's
Swampert.
Chapter 3: Rui loves her mudkip
Rui looks at the cute little baby mudkip and smiles. She goes off
to Odale town. When she goes there she spots a younger girl with a very
cute yellow pokemon training. The younger trainer asks Rui if she just got
that from Prof. Birch? Rui said "yea" The younger trainer gave her a very
long lecture on becoming a pokemon trainer. Rui looks and thinks "Wow I
didn't know pokemon was this complicated. Wes never mentioned any of this
stuff" The younger trainer introduced her Ampharos to Rui. She also
mentioned that she was going to enter the hoenn league. Rui then got
inspired to train her mudkip, and so she did some field work in the field.
