A little poem set shortly after Aragorn is crowned.
I don't own Gondor or any of Tolkien's creations.
'Rise of Gondor'
Shards of light fall through broken clouds,
Cutting through the darkness,
Lifting shadows from a weary world.
A new era has begun with the dawn.
Golden beams surround crumbled buildings,
Engulfing them softly, whispering hope.
'Arise, arise, soon you shall be whole
And I Shall be your beacon to the world.'
Sunrise, sunset, illuminates figures,
Tirelessly working from dawn until dusk.
Pouring their lives into the city,
Singing their hearts to the light above.
Glowing sunlight reflects from white towers,
Dark clouds no longer, fill the azure sky,
Tall and proud shines the city in sunlight,
Forever and always, a symbol of hope.
I don't own Gondor or any of Tolkien's creations.
