Just some Glinda/Elphaba friendship stuff – NOT SLASH
"Elphie?"
Elphaba sighed and looked up from the gigantic book she was carefully studying.
"Yes?"
"Elphie, what do you really think of me?"
Elphaba nearly dropped the book. "What?"
Glinda smiled. "I mean, what is it about me that makes you want to be my friend. And don't say it's because I'm so fabulously popular, clever, beautiful and modest."
Elphaba gave a small chuckle.
"Well Glinda. This is what I think of you. You are so obliviously innocent to everything going on around you, it's really quite sweet. You really have no idea about anything much, like you don't know what a Munchkin is."
Glinda looked slightly confused. "Yes I do! Munchkin's are those delightful little talking dolls in that town with the yellow brick houses."
Elphaba rolled her eyes. "Glinda. For the five hundred twenty five thousandth sixth hundredth time, Munchkins are real people, and Munchkin land is the place with the yellow brick road.
Glinda looked even more puzzled. "Yes Elphie. That's what I said."
Elphaba just nodded.
Glinda shrugged and went back to painting her toenails in what she had rapturously told Elphaba earlier that day, 'this seasons must have colour, Emerald Green. Just like you Elphie!'
A few minutes past. "Glinda?"
"Yes?"
"For the record, what do you like about me?"
Glinda gave a tinkly laugh. "Well. What I like about you is that you are, quite simply, this seasons must have accessory, you're all Emerald Green!"
And Elphaba stormed out, leaving Glinda painting her nails.
Thanks for reading, please review. It's my first go at a Wicked fan fic, so any tips would help. Thanks.
