Ok so I've had really bad writer's block on my last story and this fic has been on my mind for some time. I got the idea from the movie Definitly, Maybe. I'm going to try and see if anyone can figure out who the parents are and I will reveal their identities at the end of the story. I'm mostly making it up as I go so any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. Dislaimer - Also, I do not own Teen Titans or any other movie or brand that could possibly sue for using their names. - Disclaimer. I will try to update all my fics soon but like I said I'm prone to writer's block. Anyways, let me know what you think.

"Mommy, how did you meet Daddy?"

The woman tucking her daughter into bed stilled at the question.

"Why do you ask?" The woman replied as she resumed pulling a pink blanket up to the child's shoulders.

The little girl shrugs and looks up at her mother. "You always tell a different story when people ask how you met Daddy. Last week you told my teacher you met at an airport and then yesterday you told a lady you met at a gerocery store."

With a deep sigh the woman sits on the little girl's bed. Pushing her hair from her face, she looks into the bright green eyes of her daughter. "Well to tell the truth, it's a very boring story and people can never tell the difference so why bother them with the truth?"

"But I want to know. I bet I could tell how you really met."

The woman raises an eyebrow at the child. "And what makes you so sure Miss Lila?"

Lifting her chin, Lila looks at her and ticks off on her fingers. "Well first off, you can fly on your own so I doubt you and Daddy met at an airport, and second you can't cook so there wouldn't be a reason for you to be in a gerocery store."

By the end of the girls sentence, both of her mother's eyebrows had risen. "I can cook, it's just you and your father don't like my cooking. And insulting my culinary skills is not going to get me to tell you the story."

"I'm sorry Mommy. My mistake, you are the best cook to ever walk the-" Lila broke into giggles. "I tried but it's just too funny."

Her mother soon joined in laughing with her daughter. She was aware her cooking was an aquired taste.

"You know for a seven year old, you can be quite the smarty pants." The woman mused out loud. "You must get it from you father."

Recovering from her fits of giggles, the little girl sits up straighter bending her knees and wrapping her arms around her legs. "I know! You could tell me a different story every night about how you and Daddy met and I can try to figure out which is the real story."

The mother ponders for a few moments. " Alright then." She replies nodding her head in agreement.

With a big smile Lila rests her chin on her knees and relaxes as her mother begings the first story...
