19.02.2016 - UPDATED and IMPROVED

Hello Inu fans! I know it's been ages/years since I've last post and I don't think this even counts, but I'm re-uploading my stories because they need proof reading and editing. ;-)

So, enjoy the new corrected and improved chapters! Hope you new viewers/followers will find it interesting too! Depending on view/followers and so on, I might continue my last story as well ;-)

Chapter I
Just another "ordinary" day?

-part1-

It was a beautiful sunny day in the Feudal Era. Since Kagome was on her summer holiday and Naraku was gone and so was the Jewel, it seemed like a great opportunity to spend some peaceful, demonless and testless time with her friends (Miroku, Sango, Shippo, Kirara and Inuyasha). However, her mother had different plans. Mrs. Higurashi had already bought tickets for a holiday at the seaside for the whole family. Kagome was eager to join them too, but a "litlle" problem appeared...

She was just finishing telling her friends about her upcoming holiday when Inuyasha shouted:

"You mustn't go! You have to stay HERE!"

"It wasn't as I was asking for your permission! It was an unexpected turn of events for me as well!" Kagome told him a bit annoyed by his attitude.

"You said that when this stupid school thing ends, you'll spend more time HERE!"

"Well, I really intended too, but mom has already made all the plans and I will be back and spend time with you all as well!" She said with an assuring smile.

Everybody around assured her that they're perfectly fine except for Inuyasha…Who was basically beginning to be sit at this point….

"No way! What if your clumsiness gets you into trouble and you get stuck in this "holiday" thing?! Just because Naraku is gone and we don't have any Jewels to search for, it doesn't mean we can't go and slay demons, train ourselves and…"

"Shut up! Uf! You're so selfish! I don't even want to talk to you anymore! I'M LEAVING!" She replied angry and prepared to go away.

"Hey! Where are you think you are going?" Inuyasha shouted ready to stop her.

"As far as possible from you! …and don't DARE to follow me! Sit and stay there!" Kagome shouted and left.

"Come back here!"Inuyasha mumbled from the ground, but she was already gone in the woods.

Inuyasha was afraid that Kagome was going to leave them now that nothing was keeping her in the Feudal Era. The only reason she was still coming seemed to be her friends. Fortunately the well was still working and according to Kaede, who gave a speech about this after the final battle, it won't stop working because Kagome's powers where the ones making it work (AN: in this fanfic the well is working. You might not like my explanation, but more or less, I think it makes sense….)

Meanwhile, Kagome wondered through the forest muttering insults about Inuyasha till she found a cave. She entered it in order to get away from the outside heat. Also, she wanted some time alone with her thoughts….she was so upset because Inuyasha wasn't happy for her. Kagome had really made a lot of plans since her mother told her about the holiday. Of course she wanted to stay with her friends, but her family was important as well! It was more than a month since they finished the last battle and almost a week since she finished high school (AN: My fanfic, my timeline ;-) ). She travelled a lot lately in between the worlds anyway, trying to spend with everybody as much time as possible. She didn't even dared to think of the future yet and promised her mother to discuss about it when they'll have more time alone…

Now Kagome only wanted to focus on the upcoming trip…which was tomorrow. She was going to tell her friends the news, but Inuyasha had to pick up a fight with her! She had to go home that evening and make her luggage, but she didn't move yet. She was still thinking of Inuyasha's angry face. She didn't want to leave him like that. How could she have fun on the seaside knowing that he was here with a sad doggy face? Suddenly small tears started to appear...One of the reasons she was afraid to think of the future was because of him…Will he be part of her future? Will they ever be more than just friends? Things between them seemed to be the same as before the battle, their fights getting lately more and more heated…Was it because of their hiding feelings?

In the meantime, Inuyasha finally gave up and went to search for Kagome after Miroku, Sango and Shippo bothered him that much that he thought he will go crazy. Anyway, he would have gone by himself without their annoying reasons, because after all, he really CARED about her, but that was his secret. He didn't want his friends to know about his soft side for Kagome even though they kind of know about it…already…since the very beginning actually, but let's leave Inuyasha believe that he's the only one aware of his feelings for Kagome….

He was jumping around the forest when, obviously, he found the cave with ease as he knew Kagome's scent "everywhere". It only took him a quick glance to realize that the cave didn't look safe and probably could even collapse…He was sure of that because he used to come and practice with his sword on it…It used to be a very steady place, but after his shots, it was a wonder it wasn't all broke in pieces. He hurried up. Inuyasha jumped once again and got to it, but...Somehow he hang himself in the tree and unbalanced, so he landed collapsing at Kagome's feet who was very surprised seeing him appearing all of a sudden. Inuyasha realized that his sword's scabbard got hung so that's why he unbalanced. Though, he was a bit shocked by the fact that he got so clumsy all of a sudden…Then it hit him…it was because tonight was, but he didn't get the chance to finish his thought as he realized another thing. Tetsusaiga was missing! His precious sword was missing! It took him less than a second to understand that his sword along with the scabbard felt when he hit the cave floor and now where right at the start of the cave.

Inuyasha grabbed Kagome's elbow and wanted to take her away as soon as possible because he wanted his sword back and the cave gave him a sense of insecurity. However, she was still angry and refused to leave. Inuyasha who remembered his forgotten thought from a few minutes ago, realized he has a third reason to hurry up and leave the cave as fast as possible. Therefore, instead of explaining to Kagome his worries, he preferred to start another fight and argue with Kagome about leaving immediately. She got even angrier. How dare he come and just start giving her orders?! 'You insensitive jerk' She though absolutely mad on him. She lost her temper and shouted:

"I...WON'T...LEAVE...FROM...HERE!"

"BUT YOU HAVE TOO!"

"I WON'T. LEAVE ME ALONE!"

"LET'S GO!"

"NOOOO! LET'S STAY!"

"NOOO!"

"THEN SIT! SIT! SIT!SIT!SIT!SIT!SIT!SIT!"

As Inuyasha was hitting the ground again and again the cave started to shake. Kagome stopped abruptly from her sit commands and kneeled above Inuyasha's head while she covered her head with her hands. Inuyasha was cursing in the ground still unable to move because of the beads. A few small stones fell on their area, but the entry collapsed. Huge stones felt on Tetsusaiga and blocked the only way out of the cave.

When Kagome stood up from Inuyasha she realized that he transformed into his human form. Because everything lately was so "peaceful", no Naraku, no dangerous demons and also all the mess with Kagome's leaving made everybody neglect the fact that there was no moon that night. Never mind the fact that their friends might not come searching after them…when Kagome was usually saying that she's leaving it meant she's going home…Nobody would have expected her not actually going…And now here she was, stuck in a cave with a human Inuaysha…Could things get worse? Or actually turn better?
