Just a short little one- shot. I own nothing.
Aang and Katara have been together for three years. Ever since Sozin's Comet. It was the summer month they did. Katara and Aang slept silently in their room. Aang woke up first, knowing it was the big day. He placed a note on Katara's bedside table and quietly walked out of the room. Katara woke and saw the note.
My dearest love-
Happy anniversary. We've been together for three years and I have a surprise for you. Meet me by the Ba Sing Se waterfall at sunset tonight. But for now, have fun with Suki, Toph, and Mai.

Katara smiled at the note. Toph walked in and sat on the bed.
"So, what are you and Twinkle Toes doing?" Toph said.
"Nothing really. He just wants me to have a good day. I'm meeting him by the waterfall tonight," Katara responded.
"Cute. Let's go grab some breakfast."

That afternoon, Mai and Katara walked through the city. Toph and Suki were back home.
"What do you think I should wear tonight?" Katara asked.
"It's not a wedding anniversary. It's just a boyfriend, girlfriend anniversary," Mai said.
"So? I still want to look nice."
"True."
They bought Katara a nice Water Tribe Kimono. It had rolling waves along the bottom.
"It's pretty," Mai commented.
"Yeah," Katara said, spinning around so Mai can view the back.
"It's almost time to go. You should start to head to the falls."

Katara walked through the park and then finally reached the falls. Aang was waiting for her, already.
"Hey," he said.
"Hi," she replied, giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"So are you ready for you're anniversary surprise my seventeen year old?" he asked.
"Yes," she said.
He smiled and got down on one knee.
"If you had anything in the world… what would it be?" he said.
"To be with you forever."
"Well then. Katara, my dearest love, will you do me the honor of spending the rest of my life with me?"
He pulled out a necklace. It was an intertwining wind and wave.
"In other words," he said. "Will you marry me?"
Katara grinned as tears brimmed in her eyes.
"A- Aang! Yes! Of course I will!" she cried with joy.
The two of them shared a loving embrace and then, a loving kiss.
