The Empire Of The Son Continued…
This is continued from what happens next after the 'empire of the son' when Dan and Blair are kissing and Serena and Chuck are going to visit her. I did see the promo but it's not based on that at all, it's my own way of doing it.
"I need to find Blair, she's the only one who will understand. I need to find her." Chuck told his stepsister at the bar of his ruined party. As he got up to leave Serena told his she would go with him and they left to visit the Waldorf's.
Once they arrived they saw Blair and a dark haired boy making out on the sofa.
"Blair!" The two stepsiblings gasped in unison.
"Huh? Oh hi Chuck and Serena, what are you doing here?" She asked awkwardly, covering the boy's head so he was unknown to her best friends.
"B, I live here and Chuck came to-" She was cut off by Chuck telling Blair his fake reason.
"Do something, with Serena." He smirked, suggesting something.
"No way!" She shrieked, until she saw Blair's hands drop momentarily and it was revealed the boy was Dan, however he didn't notice that he was seen.
"I can't believe you told them!" She covered.
"So how long has this been going on for?" Blair asked, partly disturbed that the two near enemies were together and partly broken-hearted that her best friend and her ex were together.
"Ever since tonight." He smiled at Serena as he snaked his arm around her, pretending it was the brunette on the opposite end of the room.
"How?"
"Ben broke up with me and Chuck was depressed so we just hit off, to make ourselves feel better."
"Why was he depressed?"
"I wasn't it was an act to get her to come to me."
"It was? Well it worked!" Serena chirped, trying not to gag at the thought of her and Chuck doing it, that was a very VERY dark thought.
"Well I hope you two are very happy together!" Blair falsely cheered.
"Well, I wouldn't want to inturrupt anything so we'll leave I think the Humphrey loft is free." She told Chuck shooting Blair a I'm-onto-you look.
Once the fake couple had left he removed his arm from around her waist and they both jumped back.
"I know, I wouldn't usually say this to people, but thank you, you had no benefit from it and I used you as an excuse and may have caused a drift between you and your best friend." He thanked.
"Well actually I do have a motive, Dan." She looked down.
"I know you like Dan but he and Blair don't even talk so how would he find out?"
"He and Blair definitely don't talk but they do more" He shot her a quizzical look and she elaborated. "That guy she was making out with… it's Dan."
"That son of a-" He started before she cut him off.
"Do you think I'm happy either?" She questioned harshly.
"Yeah, well you have a boyfriend so it doesn't matter."
"Did you not listen? Ben broke up with me!"
"I thought that was just a cover I didn't-"
"You didn't know? Chuck Bass knows everything!" She mocked. "You went after Raina for how long? And now you're going back to Blair? I saved your relationship with Raina from Blair, Chuck. You have to let her have one with someone else, even if it is Dan." She choked out the final word.
I know it's really rubbish but I just thought I'd write it anyway it's my first gossip girl fanfiction but I think it's really crappy, it was a good idea until I put it on paper and it didn't really work.
