Yeah ya'lls. I'm sorry I haven't written before. So busy! This is in Stark's past.

Stark's POV

I slammed my locker door shut. Not again, I thought. What did I do this time? The kid who told me looked at me nervously, like I was going to hit him or something. Ugh, I guess that's what happens when you have to go to anger management every week and meet with the school guidance counselor. I was always a little different from everyone else. Not in the mutation sense, I just had more anger and more…emotions as my guidance counselor said. Yeah right…I rolled my eyes.

When I walked into the school office, the secretary looked at me warily. Of course, the school secretary was also my mother. Here comes a lecture. "James", she said, her voice pinched, "what are you doing here again?"

"Well….it's a long story", I began. Luckily, the principal beckoned to me as he came out of his office. Unluckily, he needed to talk to me about my "issues". "Hello James. You'll need to come with me for a second I'm afraid. It looks like you're in trouble again". Dang. I walked into the office (actually, I strutted, but whatever).

1 Hour Later

Well. That went…actually, it depends on whom you ask. I, on one hand, am glad that I no longer have to go to that snobby school. My mom, however, does not feel the same way. There's nothing I can do about now though! Yes! Free from snobs at last! I did a victory dance in my head. I brought my attention back to the conversation going on between me and my mom.

"James, I just can't believe you would graffiti the principal's house. How did you even find Principal Nerusky's house anyway?" she asks. "Um, I followed him home?" I said it like I was asking a question.

"James Ash Stark! I cannot believe you did that!" she turns into the entrance of my favorite fast food place. We get out off the car. I saw someone in the shadows. We went inside and I got a bucket of popcorn chicken. My stomach was grumbling by the time we walked outside. I turned because I felt someone watching me. It was the hobo dude, but when he stepped out of the shadows, I got a better view of him. Before he said those dreadful words and I blacked out I saw my mom's horrified face.

How do ya like it? Comment, PLEASE!
