A Tender Moment
It had been a hectic day in the NYC precinct, then again what day wasn't especially after the appearance of the Quarrymen. For all the good they thought they did, they were a source of many headaches among cops who had to field the reports of stone gargoyle statues being destroyed as they were thought to be real gargoyles. Elisa groaned, didn't these idiots know that a gargoyle that was stone by night was not a real living gargoyle. She had the rest of the night off so she went to the Eyree Building longing to see her gargoyle love, Goliath. they had long since faced the facts that they couldn't just be friends, there was too much between them, they couldn't be happy without each other's love.
Elisa arrived at the castle and found out from Hudson that Goliath was on patrol so she went out to the parapits to await his arrival. It didn't take long for him to arive and spot her sitting there waiting patiently for him.
"My love, what brings you here"
"I just wanted to see you, is there anything wrong with that?"
"No" Goliath replied with a smile as he walked up to where she sat and placed talloned hands on her shoulders in a loving move that made Elisa smile
"My day has just been one call after another, most having to do with Quarrymen destroying gargoyle statues. I got a call out from a blind man who said he heard a crash and his seeing eye dog Ginny went he figured out what happened and reported it to the police. Somehow that call got thrown my way." she sighed "Mr. Robinson was little help in finding the perps but at least we knew it happened in that area so we can keep an eye on the situation."
"Robinson... as in Jeffry Robinson?" Goliath said in slight surprise
"How did you know?"
"He made friends with Hudson before the Quarrymen showed up on the scene, they're still friends if I'm not sadly mistaken"
"Well at least I know that the statue destroyed in Robinson's front lawn this evening wasn't Hudson, he was awake by the time that took place" she sighed "Golaith... I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you" she sighed as she leaned against him
"I don't know what I'd do without you, but let us not think about that he said hugging Elisa near
"I agree, let's just treasure now with each other"
Goliath agreed as he held Elisa in his arms that there was nothing he would rather do than treasure this time with his love.
