Author's note: I know I'm really late to the CaptainCanary hype, but I love those two so much. Enjoy this short winter fic. I know it's fall but if everyone can skip Halloween and Thanksgiving and head right on to Christmas I can skip Fall and go straight into Winter.

Sara sipped her hot cocoa and hummed in content. Marshmallows, of course. She thought. Leonard had rubbed off on her and now she couldn't have the drink without the mini marshmallows. Laying on a couch in their living room near a window, Sara could see the snow had stopped falling and had left a white blanket on their front lawn. She looked down at her stomach and covered herself with the fluffy blanket when she felt a chill.

She was only four months into her pregnancy but was expecting twins, so she was a little larger than usual. Sara heard footsteps coming from the stairs.

"Sara!" Her husband's voice called. She sighed and called back. "What do you want Snart?" She was rather comfortable and didn't feel like getting up.

Even though they had been married for nearly three years the playful banter and use of nicknames remained since their days as legends.

Her husband appeared in the living room and gave her a playful stare. He was wearing his blue parka and winter boots. In his arms were one of Sara's coats, a pair of boots, a beanie and a scarf.

"Let's go outside." He said. Sara snorted and placed her mug on the window sill.

"I'd rather not. It's cold, why don't we play cards instead?" She asked hopefully.

"Let me think about that." He responded as he walked up to her. Giving her smirk he placed the beanie over her blonde hair. She slightly pouted.

"Come on. Besides." He said as he helped Sara into her coat. "The snow is perfect to make a snowman."

Sara smirked. "All right Len." Snart smiled as he helped her put on the winter boots. He swiftly kissed her stomach and helped his wife up. Over time he had grown more comfortable with being affectionate, it was a long process but with her, it didn't seem hard.

….

Snart exhaled and observed the air that came out. He liked the cold. He liked the feeling it gave.

"Hey, Len." He turned around and saw his wife. He'd never get tired of looking at her.

"I found these in the kitchen." She said while walking to him. Sara held a carrot and two Oreo cookies.

"Sara we're not using Oreos for the eyes. They are perfectly good cookies that would go to waste." He said as he rolled the smallest snowball for the head.

His wife pouted, and he sighed. "Come on snowflake don't give me that look."

"It's not me! The twins are the ones that are sad." She said containing a giggle. Leonard raised an eyebrow but smiled after.

"Very well." He said taking the cookies and carrot from her. "For the twins." He said sternly but playfully. Sara clapped and breathed in. She smiled and rubbed her stomach while her husband made a mouth on the snowman with some small stones.

"I can't wait till they start kicking." She said tenderly. Leonard looked at her and gave a shy smile. "Me too."

He finished the mouth and put his arm around his wife placing a kiss on her forehead. Sara smiled and gasped. It had started snowing again.

"Come on." Len said. "Let's grab some cacao."

"With mini marshmallows?" She asked, tilting her head as they started walking.

"Who do you think I am?" He responded.

They smiled at each other and went inside. For the rest of the afternoon they enjoined each other's company. Talking about names for the twins, the future, sharing memories. At moments there was silence, but it didn't bother either of them. Being together was all they needed.
