roxiné/namixas
×--- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ---
They were both wrong from the start. Nobodies, they were empty shells that weren't supposed to exist. They were wrong, wrong, wrong right from the start. They were both broken and twisted and kicked around, stomped and crushed until they couldn't take it anymore.
The Organization's witch, and the youngest member, the errand boy.
Just because Roxas was young it meant that he had all the easy, boring tasks. Just because Naminé could tweak memories made her a witch.
Just because they were Nobodies meant that they couldn't love. It was all wrong, wrong, wrong.
Emotions, strange, fickle things that Roxas experienced as his heart pounded harder, faster every time Sora's heart pounded and skipped a beat. The constant yearning to impress Kairi Sora had gnawed at Roxas's insides. Impressing her, impressing Naminé.
Emotions, colorful, complex things that Naminé knew about, the desperation Sora had when he tried to rescue her from Castle Oblivion. How she felt her insides tangle up in a knot when Kairi accidentally brushed past Sora. For him, for Roxas.
It was wrong to feel like this. Nobodies didn't feel at all, no, they had better things to do, as Larxene put it, "Don't be foolish." As Xemnas would tell them. But no, they had to listen to Demyx. Why did they listen to Demyx? "We too have hearts!"
Foolish they were, so foolish, because two wrongs didn't make a right.
foot-notes: i bet you are just as surprise as i am. 'who the hell made muffin write namixas/roxiné?' you ask? i don't know, it just popped into my head when i read this quote, 'two wrongs don't make a right.' now, to go find some roxette/namiku/crack and sooth my headache from writing this, canon-like pairing other than kaiora. me + almost canon equals chaos
