Harima was crushed. Tenma (his beautiful, sweet, kind, pure tenma) was getting married. Harima had nothing left. "damn you karasuma!" Ok he was a little bitter but can you blame him? Harima descided he needed a change of pace. "I've got some family in the states I'll just go stay with them" So one phonecall, a plane ride and a name change later James Potter was in the states. "at least none of my kids will have to deal with that kind of heart break"

Harry potter was in love. For years he had been just coasting through life on the reputation his "loving" relatives made for him. for some reason being intimidating came easy to harry potter. Life was ok, nobody messed with him, he had food and shelter, yeah life was pretty good.

Well until that damned letter came.

Harry's normal life was promptly ripped from his arms. Now harry wasnt the smartest guy out there (have you ever herd of a delinquent who got good grades outside of an anime or disney movie?) but even he realized that there was no way he could ignore a whole secret world and special powers. So two months later Harry potter was at Hogwarts prepared to learn just enough to keep himself from blowing up and promptly bail. That is until he saw luna lovegood. like a small, cheery ray of light she peirced his foul mood and right into his heart. To everyone else however it looked like the Scary as hell (and freakishly tall) first year was trying to glare the ditsy little first year to death.

Now things are begining to look a little familiar right? Well things are only a little hopeless for harry right?

"will mister Neville longbottom please come up to be sorted?"

People were so busy being weirded out by the silent, blank faced little first year that nobody noticed little luna blush a shade of red that could give a firetruck a run for it's money.
