Prologue-The Easly Forgotten Beginning Part 1: Who am I?
Welcome to the my story, the story of how I saved everyone from a great evil. It starts with me, alone, with my face in the dirt.
I was just lying there with my eyes closed. I slowly got up and sat down. I looked around for a second and it finally occurred with me that I had no idea where I was or how I got here. I stood all the way up and I noticed a puddle of water near by. I looked into and saw a face I didn't reconise. A blue hedgehog with white gloves, red shoes with a white stripe, green eyes, and a tan belly. It actually took me a few seconds to relise that I had no idea who I was. Dumbfounded by that fact, I just tried to stay calm. I decided to walk to a city or a village, what ever was near by, to ask someone who I was. And I swear it was only a few seconds after thinking that when I heard foot steps behind me. I turned to look who it was but all I saw was a pink blur before I was flat on my back.
I looked up to see a pink hedgehog on top of me. From its voice I figured it was a girl because she said, "Oh Sonic, I've been looking all over for you!" She gave me a big bear hug and I couldn't breath. When she finally let me go I didn't know what to say so I just got up. The pink hedgehog had a red dress on, white gloves as well, red shoes with, again, a white stripe on them but this time it was going down the shoe, not across like mine. She also had green eyes, as well as a red head band on her head.
Before I could ask her anything she said, "I'm sorry for tackling you Sonic." She looked down at her feet as if she was making some excuse that she has done this before. I finally said, "I don't mean to be rude, but who are you?" She looked at me as if I was crazy and said, "Are you feeling alright Sonic?" That's the third time she has said that name, "Sonic, I'm Sonic?" I pointed to my self as I said it. She contuined the look that I was crazy as she got closer and looked at me. "You don't know who you are?" she said as her look changed from I'm crazy to she's confused. "No, I'm sorry, I was going to go to a town to find out, but if you know who I am, please tell me."
Again I swear that before she said anything I saw what looked like an evil smile, "I can." She looked actually happy to be telling me this. "Your Sonic the Hedgehog, the worlds fastest supersonic hedgehog. You're a hero who fights aginst Dr. Robotnik, who you call Eggman to make fun of him, and you always save the day. I actually haven't seen you in a few weeks, so Eggman must have done this to you." I sat back down trying to wrap my mind around all this. "Eggman," I said trying to remember, "if he did this to me, do you think he could give me my memory back?" "I'm not sure, I would suppose so, but I could always remind you of everything," she said, "why bother?" "True, but I really would like to know about things from my old memory," I said, "Can you help me….." It was at the moment I remembered she hadn't told me here name. "You still didn't tell me your name." "Oh right, I'm Amy Rose, your girlfriend," she said as her eyes light up as if she has always wanting to say that. "Ok Amy, now lets head to the nearest town and….," it took that few seconds to hit me, "I have a girlfriend?!" I said with a surprised look on my face. Amy just looked at me with a very happy look on her face, as she grabed my arm and clung to it, that seemed to pull at my memory. "This is going to be a long trip," I said with a sigh as she still clung on to my arm as we walked towards a forest that led to a town near by.
