"Tell me why I have to travel with you again?" Alayna asked for what had to be the millionth time. "Because Lani said I make sure your head isn't in the clouds and you make me not so serious" Nya replied, just walking behind Alayna with her head down. "Put your head down, you don't know what they'll do to Elementals? "How about I just pull my hood up?" Alayna asked, doing exactly that, casting the small lightning bolt on her cheek into shadow. "I wish I was travelling with Cole.". "Yeah and I wish I was travelling with Jay. But you don't see me complaining. Now get a move on" Nya said, a ring around her right eye shone with brown light. The earth started to shake. "Ok ok, I'm walking" Alayna mumbled.

(Not so far away)

An earthquake woke Lani and Maya up by making them fall out of the beds they were laying in. "Nya" Lani growled. "Want me to freeze the path ahead of them?" Maya offered, rubbing her head. "That would be great. Make sure you don't get the others though" She said. The little snowflakes that formed a mask on Maya's face lit up as she closed her eyes and concentrated.

(Nya + Alayna)

Alayna was running around, singing some pop song at the top of her voice when she fell over suddenly. Nya laughed then fell over as well as she was taking a step. She looked at the ground. It was covered in ice. "Maya, Lloyd or Mel? Cause Zane is too polite to do this" Alayna asked Nya. The ice it front of Nya started looking like someone was writing on it

Oh and Lani says whatever it was that made you cause the earthquake had better have ended beacuse next time you'll wake up with your hair on fire. BOTH OF YOU

Nya shivered. "Ok Lani says no more fighting or she'll set our hair on fire while we're sleeping" Alayna's element symbol lit up. "Alayna. What are you doing?" Nya asked, fearfully. "Sending a message" Alayna's blue eyes glittered maniacally.

(Lani + Maya)

"Huh" Lani's eyes narrowed as the sky outside immediately became cloudy and thunder rumbled. Letters in Alayna's bold writing appeared.

It wasn't funny when Alayna realised she was standing on a frozen lake. It was funny when a ring of fire made her fall through it however. "Nya. Help me!" At least Lani was nice enough to ensure that the water was nice and warm
