Amy: "Are you Hannibal the Cannibal?"
Hannibal: "Pleased to make your acquaintance. And you are?"
Amy: "Amy. Amazing Amy."
Hannibal: "I've seen posters of you in bookstores. I've never read one of your books, would you recommend that I did?"
Amy: "I personally hate them, although small children seem to adore them."
*smiles*
Hannibal: "Children see the innocence of the books, while you see the underlying messages. Do you feel amazing, Amy?"
Amy: "Why would I tell you? "
Hannibal: "You are being diagnosed. Would you prefer not to be?"
Amy: "I'm a journalist, but my complex got the best of me. Perhaps I could ask you some questions."
Hannibal: "I'd have no problem with that, although I'd like to know more about the person interviewing me."
Amy: "Don't you read the news? Crazy daughter of privilege "kills" man after trying to frame her poor husband."
Hannibal: "And I suppose the news says about me: Depraved Psychopath eats the flesh of unsuspecting beings."
Amy: "I don't think they would refer to them as beings, Hannibal."
Hannibal: "I wouldn't either."
Amy: "Do you see yourself as a divinity?"
Hannibal: "I don't see myself much differently then what I am. The son of Lithuanian Aristocrats, named after the Knight Hannibal the Grim. I have complexes too."
Amy: "Don't we all."
*Hannibal and Amy smile*
Hannibal: "I had a difficult life as a child."
Amy: "I'm not surprised."
