JJ was sitting in the emergency room holding on to her son and trying not to cry. Will had flipped out in the worst way. Accusing her of cheating and then he's started hitting her. She'd managed to get away and get Henry out of there as fast as she could.
She's pulled into a gas station three miles from her house and called her team, Garcia and Morgan had picked her up and taken her to the hospital. Hotch, Rossi and Prentiss had headed straight to her house looking for Will. She wasn't even sure he was still alive, seeing as Hotch sounded like he was ready to kill Will. And she was pretty sure they were all armed even though I was three in the morning.
The only missing piece was that she hadn't seen or heard from Reid since she told him she was on the way to the hospital.
Spencer Reid pulled up to a bar and let out a breath. When JJ had called and said that she was going to the hospital because Will had beaten her up, Reid saw red. How dare that man hurt her, and in front of Henry?
JJ and Henry were the most important people in his life. He would do anything for them. He knew that Will was going to loose his temper one day and had tried to talk to JJ about it, but she had insisted that Will was going to his anger management classes and they would be fine.
Stepping out of his car he waited, Will would come out and then Reid would give him what he deserved. Sooner then he thought Will came drunkenly strolling out of the bar with a skinny red head holding him up.
Pulling out his phone he dialed Hotch's number, after three rings Hotch picked up.
"Hotchner"
"Chillers bar on third." Reid said and then tossed his phone back into his car. He tucked his hands into his pockets and walked up to the drunk couple, looking at the red head he glared "Get lost"
"I don't know who you think you are.. " she started but Reid just gave her a dirty look and she backed off.
"oh looky here, its baby Reid, the man who's been sleeping with my wife!" Will said and threw a punch at him that Reid easily ducked thanks to Morgan's training
"I was hoping you would do that" he said and punched Will in the face "where the hell do you get off" Punch " beating on JJ?"
"Fuck you!" Will said and tried hitting him again
"Come on, you can't even stand up! You fucking dirt bag! You just lost the best thing that ever happened to you!" Reid yelled as he knocked Will to the ground and then began punching his repeatedly. "you stupid son of a bitch!"
"Reid!" he heard someone yell at him but he wasn't listening, all he could think of was that Will would ever lay another hand on JJ and he would never lay his eyes on Henry again.
Suddenly he was being pulled off Will, and he was fighting against Morgan and Rossi as they struggled to hold him back.
"Look Reid we get it" Morgan said in his ear "We'd love to beat the hell out of him too, but you need to go see JJ and Henry, she's been asking about you"
"Fine" he said and with one last glare at Will, he walked back to his car and drove off toward the hospital.
JJ was still sitting in her hospital room when a worn out Reid walked in. "Spence!" she said and started bawling, she didn't notice the bruise forming on his eye, or the scrapes on his knuckles, all she knew was that her best friend and sons Godfather was finally here, and holding her like she had been waiting all night for him to do.
