"Sara?"
"I'm here," she answered as she watched Grissom's gowned body disappear into the CT scan. She stood in the viewing room, which afforded her the opportunity to see his bare feet as he was laying on the 'patient couch' of the machine.
"I missed my flight."
She heard his slight chuckle, then the doctor told Grissom to be absolutely still as the scanner began taking a series of over a thousand images via the latest in X-ray technology.
When his body slipped out of the machine, she was rewarded with a new view up his gown.
