I know you by your tale alone;
Your memory is old and gray.
You're just a name upon a stone.
Your path was one I wasn't shown.
Somehow I took it anyway.

The man you were, I've never known
I only saw you walk away.

Small scraps of story I've been thrown,
The prizes in this game I play.
