Going back to their cave
(Diego and Bree are now living with the Cullen's. They didn't die)
"Where are we going?" Bree asked as she sat turned towards Diego, watching him drive his new jet black Volvo down the road. Diego didn't even look at her, he just smiled.
"Why won't you tell me?" Bree complained, sitting back in her seat and crossing her arms over her chest.
"Because it would ruin the surprise," he told her. He looked at her. "Baby please don look like that," he almost whined, when he saw her sitting like she was. It almost killed him when she was upset of hurt.
Bree looked at him, staring into his pain filled eyes. Of course being vampires, they could drive without even looking at the road. She leaned over and kissed his cheek which made him smile and the pained look in his eyes disappear.
He turned back and looked at the road, but he held one of her hands in his. She squeezed his hand and then lifted it to her lips and kissed it gently. His smile grew.
"We're almost there now," Diego promised as he drove faster so he wouldn't upset his mate again.
Parking the car, Diego got out and walked around so he could help Bree out. "Thanks," she said. He smiled and helped her climb onto his back.
"You're welcome," he said as he began walking. Bree sensed that she had been here before but she couldn't remember. Diego smiled. "You still haven't figured out where we're going yet?" he asked, chuckling softly to himself. Bree kissed the back of his head gently.
"No, now will you tell me?" she asked. He shook his head, laughing softly. He walked down a path. "Bree would you do something for me?" he asked quietly.
"Anything," she whispered against his ear before kissing it. He smiled.
"Close your eyes please," he asked. She sighed but did as he asked. He walked for a bit before placing her down. Diego kissed her lips before whispering,
"You can open your eyes now". She did and almost gasped when she saw their cave. He smiled as he watched her eyes widen and stare.
"Thank you," she whispered.
"For what?" he asked. Bree knew he knew what she meant so she just kissed his lips.
