A poem about how Kagome feels after Inuyasha chooses Kikyo.
I told him how I felt,
I gave my heart,
I said I needed him,
Then my world fell apart,
With just three small words,
That left my fragile lips,
With that I gave,
He looked away,
Said I'm not what you need,
Of course there was someone else,
Someone I could not replace,
I had no one to blame,
But myself,
It's my fault I am hurt,
It's my fault I'm broken,
It's my fault I won't be able to love again,
I won't open up,
I'm closing what is left of my heart,
To the rest of the world,
I know now,
That love can only exist...,
In fairy tales.
