New Beginnings ch.2
Apparently killing three lycans doesn't stay unknown for long. I had just made it outside the city and into the forest when the lycans found the bodies. They were right on my tail. I knew I'd be safe in the trees. Ditching those things wouldn't be easy, but I had to make sure they couldn't track me to my parents' location.
I jumped from the tree and was about to land, when a lycan tackled me in mid-air. I kicked him off and got to my feet. I knew that if I could get behind it I could kill it. I phased into my hybrid form and attacked. I was just about to strike when another lycan grabbed me from behind. It bit into my neck with its razor-sharp teeth. The pain was unbearable. I knew I had to get out of its grip before it could finish me off. I heard a roar of pain from the first lycan who tackled me and then a cracking sound. Then the lycan's grip loosened and it fell to the floor with its neck broken. I turned around to see the first lycan dead from a bite wound and a girl standing there stained with its blood. I could tell by her eyes that she too was a hybrid. She phased back into her normal form and began to cry. She embraced me as if she had longed for that moment. "I found you," she said through the tears. "Who are you?" I asked. "My name is Eve, and I'm your sister." She replied. I couldn't believe it. All this time I had been looking for my family, and now I would finally be with them. "Come quickly. We must get back to the hide out before the lycans find us." She said. We began running and after a while we came to concrete building in the middle of the forest. We went inside and Eve led me to a stone on the wall. She pushed it and part of the floor opened up. She led me down until we were in what looked like a weapon room. My mother and father looked at me as if they knew I was coming. They came to be and knelt beside me. I hugged my mother as if I'd known her all of my life. "I've waited so long for this." I said. "I know you have. So have we. What's important now is that we're finally together. "She replied. "We have to go! The lycans know we're here!" I realized. "We know. This used to be a weapon room for Antigen. We restarted the camera system under a private frequency. We've been watching the Antigen building up until recently. The lycans somehow locked on to the frequency and traced us. However, we had learned about you in the time that we watched. We waited for a time to strike, but there were too many lycans in the city. Then you escaped. It was the last thing we saw of the building before the lycans cut off our video feed. We sent Eve to find you so that we could escape this place together." "Anything I can do to help?" I asked. "Gather as much ammunition as you can. We leave in a few hours. "She replied.
I only own Adam. Everyone else is owned by the creators of Underworld (which I also don't own) I'm finally done with part 2. Wooh! Sorry for the wait. Part 3 is on its way. Tell me what you think of this one. ^^
