Title: Sel'mak and VCRs
Sel;mak was screaming in goa'uld that roughly translates to "evil taure technology", as he throws the remote against the door. Daniel duck as he entered.
"Sel'mak?"
"Yes Daniel Jackson. Why are you here?"
"Sam asked me to feed her fishes. You?"
"Major Carter has asked me to set her TV to a show at 7 o'clock called Science and the universe for her."
"And 'evil taure technology'?"
"I can not get this primitive technology to work!"
"Turn the power on would be a good start."
"On, yes."
"Why don't you let Jacob do it? It would be much easier."
"Jacob has no idea how this machine works, ether."
"Right."
Daniel stands there as Sel'mak curse at the remote, pushes random buttons and generally destroying Sam's TV remote.
"You know. This is interesting, considering the Tok'ra are far more technology advanced than us. And you can't work a VCR.''
"Jacob is from earth, he has no idea how to work this thing, either."
"Okay, okay, I'll see what I can do."
Daniel proceeds to read the instruction book, pushes buttons for about 12 minutes and bangs the remote against the table.
"Bloody VCRs!"
"You are having the same difficulties as well?" Said Sel'mak, smirking.
"Be quiet Sel'mak." Daniel responded in an annoyed voice.
Daniel looked at the remote then took the batteries cover off and screamed "Where are the batteries?"
