Into the wind, she cries
Against the sea
Her love, the waves
Sheds salt like tears
He batters and moans
Yearning for Ithaca
Where currents cold
But familiar
Flock with birds
Of his feather
Unlike her wings
Of long and white
Long fish wiggle
From her hook
But they stay and
Wriggle, and still
She will not let
Him go. He will
Not go, but the
Winds pass by
So she cries into
The wind, to the
Sea, and watches the waves
Sail off into the dawn.
Author's Note: Just a little thing for the Odyssey. Does anyone know how to put space between the stanzas...?
