A/N: Hello again. This is a simple oneshot with Kyo and Tohru. There aren't any spoilers or anything, so just sit back and enjoy the story :]

Contagious
Tohru lowered the newspaper she was reading and glanced at Kyo, who sat next to her.
They were the only people in the house. Yuki went somewhere on student council business again, whereas Shigure had gone to the main house to bother Hatori and Akito.
"Kyo-kun, have you heard about HIV and AIDS? It says here in the newspaper that it's contagious through… umm… err…'making love' to someone who has it and that there's a slight chance that you can get it by kissing him or her, too. What's even worse is that they don't have a cure for it yet…
Oh, I feel so bad for the people who have it… I don't know what I'd do if I was told that I was going to disappear from this world, not knowing when whether I'd die the next hour, or the next minute or the next second, or-"
"Okay, okay, I get it. You feel bad for those people and you're glad that you don't have HIV. See? I'm not that dumb. You can just tell me straight out, you know." Kyo turned his head back to the television.
"Ah, sorry." Tohru said quietly behind the newspaper.
"And don't apologize, either." The stubborn cat said with his crimson eyes focused on the anime playing on the screen.
I'm so stupid… I put Kyo in a bad mood again… Tohru sighed silently. But I do feel sorry for the people with that horrible disease…
She lowered the newspaper again until her eyes, the top of her head, and her petite hands were the only parts of her that were visible to Kyo.
"Kyo-kun?" She squeaked.
"What is it?" Kyo asked as he turned off the TV. It's not like he could keep his attention on the anime anyway. Getting Tohru off of his mind was probably one of the biggest challenges that he could ever face.
"Do you have HIV?" She asked with her head tilted to the side.
"Hell no!!! Don't you remember the time Hatori came here and gave us HIV tests? He used those needles and took some of our blood to see if we were infected. He told us all the tests were negative! Come on, it was only two weeks ago!"
"Oh, I remember now! That was also when Shigure went on a business trip, right?" Tohru added.
"No, he just left so that he wouldn't have to take another one of Hatori's shots."
"Oh."
There was a moment of silence before Kyo started speaking again.
"And besides, if I had HIV, I wouldn't even let myself near you…" Kyo muttered with a light blush staining his cheeks.
Tohru's face was tinted with a light pink as well. After a few seconds, another question escaped her lips.
"What would you do if I had HIV?"
An awkward silence enveloped the room as the orange-headed teen seemed to be thinking of an answer.
A few seconds later, Kyo spoke.
"I'd kiss you a million times until I got it too."
