Hiei let out a sob has he turned from Kurama's window. He tried not to picture Kurama touching Botan. Kissing her. He jumped to another branch. Tear gems landed on the ground. Hiei slipped and fell.

And blew away as I collapsed / So cold

He tried to get up but his legs would not support him. He laid in the snow. He knew that he was no longer with Botan but it didn't change the way he felt for her. Or the fact she was with his ex-best friend.

Hiei had not been with another woman since Botan. And there she was. All over his best friend. Hiei had gone there to ask Kurama if the feelings he had for Botan should still exists. And there was his lover and his best friend.

A black wind took them away / From sight

Hiei looked at the snow falling around him. Now he had another reason to hate winter. It was when he had been born(1) and banished from koomire island. And it was when his lover had betrayed him.
