HELLO
I'm Alice, yes. I expect to be called that. XD So, this is my fanfiction and please don't hate me if it's horrible. I haven't written any fanfiction in about three years now. This most definitely isn't another Bella/Edward, as much as I love them. The prologue is just to give you an idea, or perhaps a cliffie, of what happened before the first chapter. I will explain everything in detail once I get to that point but for now… I just had to write this before I became lazy and changed my mind.

"Are you sure about this?" I nodded a little, frowning at the amber eyes which stared back at me. As much as I love him, Edward could be quite the… I couldn't think of a word at that exact moment. Those eyes were mesmerizing, one of the many things I adored about the vampire who sat next to me. He smiled, the one he knew I couldn't resist, but that smile didn't reach his eyes.
"Bella," A pause followed as we just continued to stare, each of us battling with our eyes. I wanted this, with all of my heart. I'd waited four years longer than I was supposed to, just to make Edward happy. In all honesty, it had been something I'd dreamed of. We had everything now, more than I'd thought we'd ever have. The one chemical missing from this experiment was me being immortal. "It's not going to be a walk in the park."
"I know." I sighed, frowning. He'd told me this time and time again. I knew of the pain I'd go through. He'd told me the burning I felt when James bit me would be nothing compared to what I'd feel in the three days following. I didn't care.
"Bella, I know you want this bu.." I cut him off, there wasn't going to be anymore excuses.
"You've told me, Edward." I said, a little more sharply than I'd first intended. "I married you and still ended up waiting longer than I should have. You broke your promise once; I don't expect you to do it again." I could see the hurt flash through his eyes but I was only being honest… Something I began to regret at that look. Before he could speak, I cut him off once again.
"You know how much I want this. You've always known." He was silent, watching me as I spoke. "I don't think it's fair that I have to wait any longer." With that, he nodded. I felt a bit of triumph, I was finally going to be like him. This way, I could spend an eternity with the one I love.
All doubt left my mind as I smiled up at him. Edward stood, still not looking very pleased. All the happiness that had been inside of me before left as his eyes turned a startling shade of black. It terrified me for a moment; this was going to be painful. He turned back to me, still frowning.
"Please forgive me for all the pain I cause you, Bella." I could only nod, my eyes becoming wide. It was happening! As he moved away, getting ready to attack, I placed my hands under my thighs to keep from shaking. Excitement flowed through me, mixing in with the fear.
He was only a millisecond away from pouncing, ready to turn me when we both heard a wail that snapped us back to reality. "This is just my luck." I sighed, ad Edward left the room. Was this ever going to happen?

I realize it was short, please forgive me! The first chapter will be much longer. I know it's a bit short but do you guys think I could use a Beta reader? Be honest!
