The Ribbon On My Wrist Says Do Not Open Before Christmas

Summary: Christmas rolls around and Hermione is stuck at Hogwarts while Ron and Harry get to return home. Hermione thinks things couldn't get any worse. But guess which blond haired someone is stuck in Hogwarts in December, too?

.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.

"This is going to suck," Hermione sulked as Harry and Ron got on the Hogwarts Express.

"Yeah...but we'll be back here before you know it," Harry promised.

Ron grunted in agreement. Hermione hugged each of them before stepping back. "Bye guys. Don't have too much fun without me," she said with a watery smile.

"Aw, its just a month. We'll see you soon. And we'll write," Ron said. And with that, the two boys closed the door and the train moved off slowly, picking up speed slowly as Hermione turned around to return back to her dorm.

She lay on her bed, the letter from her parents on her bedside table. Hermione seized the letter and read it, tears dripping down her face. They left her alone so much it was killing her.

Dear Hermione,

How are you doing? We're really sorry but we can't have you back for the holidays. We are both really busy.

Please don't feel sad that you are going to be alone for Christmas.

It was really hard for us to tell you this, and we're really sorry. We'd love to have you back for Christmas but its just not happening. You should see our schedule!

Please forgive us once again and know that we love you no matter where you are.

Lots of love,

Mom and Dad

Hermione scoffed and crushed the letter into a small ball.

Why should it be hard to tell me? You've had practice for so many years. Always leaving me at Ron's or Hogwarts, she thought angrily.

She stared out the window as the snow fell, covering the Quidditch pitch in a blanket of white snow. She put on a sweater and left for the Great Hall for some food. She quickened her pace as she neared the Great Hall, not realizing how hungry she was till now.

"You can't be serious! YOU are here too?" a scathing voice said from behind her.

She froze. She knew that voice.

"Malfoy?"

She turned to face an annoyed looking Draco Malfoy.

NOOOOOOO!

.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.O.

So how was it? Good? Bad? Review! Pretty please:D This one is short and boring but its just the introduction.
