Kiss Not Forgotten

Percy said that his underwater kiss with Annabeth was the best underwater kiss of all time, but that doesn't mean that it was the best kiss ever. So what was? Note: thank you to aimmyarrowshigh for beta-ing. One-shot.

There are two kisses that Percy has most famously been involved in.

The first is the ever-loved underwater kiss with Annabeth Chase. Almost all of camp had seen it- well, as much as you can see of two people kissing underwater. The campers went crazy over it (especially Aphrodite's kids). It was the talk of the camp for days on end and was still remembered and referenced to.

The second was not as popular, but was still the talk of the camp for a couple of days when everyone found out, thanks to Nico (thought how he found out was still a bit unclear). Only one other person- not counting the Pegasus as a person- saw it- and he died not too long after. It was the kiss that Percy shared with Rachel Elizabeth Dare.

It was quick, over in less than a minute, but he longed for more. He was going out with Annabeth, and Rachel couldn't date, but that didn't stop him from thinking about the kiss they'd shared that hot summer day over a year ago

For those few seconds he felt like he was a normal guy, falling in love with an amazing girl. He imagined for just a moment that he could call a friend up and tell them about the kiss like any other teen could do. He got a taste of the life he wished for in that moment.

And that made it the best kiss of all time.

A/N: So I know you guys are probably like, "Alie doesn't write anything but PJO blah blah blah *insert rant here*", but I wrote this quite a while ago and put off publishing it because I write so much PJO. The majority of what I'm writing at the current moment is for a bunch of different fandoms, they're just taking longer to finish because one, they are longer than drabbles (though, still expect drabbles to come your way) and two, PJO is so much easier for me to write. So, while I may write so much for this fandom, I hope you don't get sick of it and give up on me. I hope that you guys enjoy this and, most of all, I hope you guys stick with me, because, honestly, you guys have gotten me through a lot and losing more people isn't exactly something I want going on right now.
