Author's note: Hey everybody! XD I had this idea for a fanfic stuck in my head, so I decided to make it! This story will be rated K+ for now but there's a chance that the rating will go up to T for teen. Originally this was going to be a longer chapter but I thought I was taking too long to finish. Now you know what to do... READ!
In the Tortuga, the brothers Kratts were putting together their equipment for their next creature adventure. This time Aviva was working on a Creature Power Suit for orcas, also known as killer whales. As usual, Martin was packing unneccessary items.
"C'mon, bro. Do you really need any of that?" asked the green-clad Kratt.
Martin turned to Chris, "Hey. What if there's any emergency? I could probably use this stuff."
"Actually MK, your brother's right." The bros recognized the voice immediately. They both turned around to see Anya and Jessie. "How long are we gonna be out there, Aviva?" asked Anya.
Aviva replied back, "Just until the Chris and Martin find the orcas and activate their suits. You girls should probably get ready, too. You' two will be very helpful in this creature adventure." The two women did what Aviva ordered and each put on parka, mittens, and scarves. Suddenly everyone felt the Tortuga shake, then a thud was heard. Jimmy finally landed in Antarctica... but not so gracefully. The automatic doors opened and Chris, Jessie, Anya, and Martin ran outside.
As they trekked farther, they struggled with trying to not slip on the icy, cold ground.
"Man, it's freezing." claimed Jessie, shivering. Anya turned back to her pal.
"Don't complain, Jess. I know it's cold, but it's not like you're going to die. If everything goes well, we go back to the Tortuga soon."
The white-clad young woman sighed, "Ok, fine." Jessie quickly looked around the snow-layered enviroment. The place was huge! If they're to find any creatures, they would have to separate. "Hey guys, maybe we could split up. Maybe we could find the orcas faster." suggested the blue-eyed female.
After thinking it over, everyone nodded in agreement. "If we're gonna spread out, then should we each go on our own or stay in different groups?" asked Anya.
Chris answered, "Groups. We'll most likely need to keep an eye on each other. Now... how will we-" Before he could complete his statement, Jessie and Martin were already running off without them. Seems like they already chose who they wanted to be paired with. Chris then called out to the two, "Hey! What are you doing? We didn't say anything yet!"
The white-clad female yelled back, "Sorry! But meet us back at the Tortuga when you're done!" And with that, the runaways were out of sight. The couple left alone glanced at each.
"Well, looks like it's just us. We should get going."declared the raven-haired young woman as she began walking again. Chris then followed.
