For the Sake of the Kingdom
Rini, formerly known as small lady, is not so small anymore. Ten years after traveling and training with her future mother and queen of Crystal Tokyo, she has matured into a beautiful young woman. Much like her mother at the age 16, but not as ditzy or clumsy, her sailor skills are far more developed. Princess Rini of the Crystal Tokyo kingdom will one day rule all of the earth in her parent's stead. In order for her to be queen she must be married first.
An arranged marriage has been set for herself and the prince from a neighboring galaxy somewhere. Like any other teenage girl, she objects full heartedly to this union. She wanted a marriage like her parents. One of love and trust, and the willingness to sacrifice all for the sake of love, the way her parents have done on previous occasions.
For a decade their have been no more attacks on the earth. The planet has been at peace for more than a decade. The sailors Mars, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter have started their families and are living happily inside the castle still protecting their princess. The outer sailor soldiers, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn are constantly on guard for invading enemies.
The prince of a planet from another galaxy is coming to claim his bride rini. Rini has plans of her own. She will leave home until her parents see reason with her and let her out of this marriage.
Rini hurriedly placed her belongings in her go away bag. She would not be here when that brat prince arrived.
"Princess, are you sure this is such a good idea?" Diana purred, from atop Rini's bed. Rini looked at her feline friend.
"I have no choice, Diana" Rini replied, "I will marry for my own reason not theirs"
"But maybe they are right and this is good for the kingdom"
"Look, Diana, are you with me or against me?" Rini snapped.
Diana sighed, "I am with you all the way"
"Good" Rini said as she finished packing what she needed, "Let's go quickly"
Rini and Diana made their out of her room. Rini looked around nervously to make sure there was no one in the hall. "Ok, coast is clear let's go" She whispered
"Go where?" A little voice said behind her.
Rini froze up. She turned to see the five year old daughter of Mars, Surin staring back at her expectantly. "Uh, we are just going for a stroll" She replied laughing nervously.
"Then why do you have your go away bag?" Surin asked. Rini flinched. Why does she have to be so observant, she thought.
"Lets just say it is a long walk"
"Looks to me like you were trying to sneak out and got caught" Another small voice added. This time it was the seven year old daughter of Mercury, Kasi.
Rini let out a frustrated sigh "Look I don't have time for this. I really need to get out of here now."
"We want to go with you" a new voice added. This time it was the daughters of Venus and Jupiter, Leah and Amethyst. Leah was 6 and Amethyst was 9.
"We have heard of the adventures our parents went on and we want to travel too." Amethyst informed her.
Rini could have died. "No way am I taking you brats with me. You will only slow me down."
"Then we tell and have you hauled back here" Kasi replied.
"Look you are too young to come with me. I can't look after all of you" Rini tried to sound as calm as possible.
The four girls shook their heads. "No, we go to"
Rini sighed dejectedly "Fine let's discuss our plan of getting out of here in my room" Rini ushered the little ones into her room. When they were all inside, she grinned wickedly, and shut the door behind them, locking them in. They began pounding on the door.
"Hey you tricked us!"
"I tell mother on you!"
"Liar!"
Rini laughed. Those runts can't get the best of me. She turned started to stroll away when she hit a hard body and fell down.
