Sebastian glanced over to his sleeping mate, Ciel had given him a precious gift, a beautiful little boy lay in Sebastian's arms. The child resembled his mother greatly except for just a few detail, he was the image of Ciel.

The demon's focus shifted to the tiny newborn he was holding.

"My dear son, I cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful feeling it is to hold you. You are loved beyond words,both your mother and I are happy to have you here, I realize it's quite an adjustment to make and your mother will need some time to get used to the arrangement. Please be as patient as you can,we are all new to this." Sebastian shifted the infant in his arms.

He had never felt anything like the love he held for the child, his child. Evian wasn't even a day old and already he had filled his father's heart with pride and pure joy.

"Speaking of your mother, I would like for you to know that although respecting your elders is something you must learn how to do, I would like you to give most of that respect to your mother. You see, your mother has had a difficult nine months, it's not your doing, he fears being a mother, he would do anything for you though his mind may tell him he will never be good enough, we know differently do we not?"

Evian stared up at his father as if listening carefully to his words.

"You and I must take very good care of him, it is my job as his mate and your father to always take care of him,one day,when you have grown, it will be your job as well to a degree. We love you unconditionally Evian Michael Michaelis, I look forward to seeing you grow and learned what your personality will be. Honestly, I hope you are more like your mother, that would mean that you will know how to love even when placed in the darkest of event,you will overcome these trials. It will also mean that you may understand that you can take this life he has given you and make it your own, you needn't be a mirror of either of us . You will have the ability to step out into the world and know that although you are a demon,you don't have to conform to our way of life. I will show you everything you will need to know."Evian closed his eyes and Sebastian grinned as his son yawned.

"sleep Evian, you had quite a day, we all have, I can tell you that although the decision was not easy, you came into this world not because Ciel felt that he had to allow it, but because you are loved,you were created from the love he and I share and we do not regret your birth. You will find as you grow that that is the case with most demons who are conceived. I promise you, this is not true for you, even through sadness, you were more important to us both. Welcome to this world my sonI love you so very much." Sebastian kissed the infant's head softly and laid him down in his cradle, he then walked to the bed where Ciel lay asleep.

He laid down on his side and reached out to stroke the new mother's hair.

"Thank you my love,for our beautiful son, I know that the process of giving birth to him was a long and difficult one,I am so very proud of you." He removed his hand as Ciel moved his head slightly on Sebastian's direction.

"Sebastian?" He called sleepily not bothering to open his eyes.

"Yes my love?"

"I'm a bit cold." The older demon moved closer, he carefully pulled Ciel into his arms,allowing the younger demon to rest his head on his chest. Ciel listened to the beating of his mate's heart, the sound causing him to begin to drift off once again.

"Sebastian, I love you." Ciel whispered before sleep took over."

"I love you too Ciel, rest now,you've earned it."
