So, this is my first fanfiction in a LONG time... It's not my best, but I love the cannon pairing Bella/Rod.
Well, wish me luck! :)
Rodolphus Lestrange and Bellatrix Black weren't meant to be. They were fated. There wasn't some great "plan" for the lovers. They weren't going to end up married and have children. They were meant to be. It was fate.
They knew this because they were born into opposing families. The Lestranges and the Blacks had been pure for hundreds of years, and there were many more to come.
They were meant to be.
They knew this because she was sorted in Slytherin and, he into Slytherin as well– a sign that they would be sworn enemies during school. It meant that they could never be friends, that they could never trust one another.
They were fated.
They knew this because they had differing opinions on what was important – Bellatrix thought that blood and wealth and power was important, whilst Rodolphus thought that bravery and modesty was important.
There was a great "plan" for the lovers.
They knew this because they never even tried to fight for one another. When they broke apart, they didn't try to find each other again. They didn't care – they just accepted it and tried to move on, no matter how hard that was.
They were going to end up married and have children.
They knew this because their parents arranged a marriage.
They were meant to be.
They knew this because they were on the same sides of war. They were pitted against each other; they knew it from the beginning that it would happen.
They were fated.
They knew this because in one moment, it all came to an earth-shattering end.
It wasn't fate.
