Ain't No Sunshine

The warm Californian sun slowly set on the horizon. The soft pinks and purples danced across the sky. I gazed out over the beautiful city and smiled. It is so peaceful up here. It was nice to finally get away, even if it is just for an hour or two. A plane flew over head and I couldn't help but wonder if she was on it. I sighed. I'll guess I'll never know.

She left, just like that. Don't know where or for how long, all I know is she isn't here. It was this morning when I found out; that's right she didn't even tell me, although we haven't been dating for 3 mouths now so I guess she didn't have to but it would have been nice. It was colder than usually but still hot never the less. I knew something was up as soon as I entered to studio. Something very wrong, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

A young couple walked by. The girl stopped, looked back, smiled and continued walking. I guess she knew. It's all over the papers already. 'Sonny Munroe leaves Hollywood for good' or 'There ain't no sunshine in California: Sonny Munroe's shock leave changes the face of Condor Studios.' A gentle breeze blows across my face sending shivers down my spin. I wish I could have said goodbye.

The studio was quieter than usual. I decide it was because hadn't been to see Sonny yet. I know what you're thinking why would I see Sonny if we weren't dating? Well we decided to be friends and friends can talk to each other right? I entered the prop house liked I own it only to find 4 glum looking teens. It was then they told me. She didn't even say goodbye to them either. She left a note. A note. A sheet of paper. Of course I took it and well I haven't been to the studio since.

I went to her apartment but it was empty. I got to the airport soon after hoping some how I would find her, I don't know why. It was no use. I couldn't stop her, she was already gone. That was when I came up here.

I glance at my watch. 11:43. Mum will be getting worried. I just know where ever she is the sun is shining on her and I know she will be alright. As for me, well I'll just have to wait and see.
