What is ?
what is a life if your lying in chains
your trying to move out of this pain
you scream so loud but nobody hears
Trying to fast forward the years
what is a nightmare if you arn't left on edge
your left on your own shook on your bed
frightened to hell , you close your eyes
seeing the movie replay in your mind
what is a dream if your not smiling through out
what a mysterious fantasy is remembered about
that smile that forms when you just awake
you love all the dreams that you can possibly make
what is everything , if nothing is there
all blackness , no oxygen , no one to care
nothing to see , or nothing to sound
the things that could be lurking slowly around
what is a question if there's no answer to keep
you stay up all night , and can't get to sleep
trying to figure an answer thats not even real
makes your head start to hurt and you feel kind of ill
what is a night if there's no moon in the sky
or a day with no sun , you love watching pass by
you smile to the stars as they shine down so bright
our days should be perfect , perfect day , perfect night
what is a poem if it has no end to the song
and just keeps going forever , on , and on
you realise this one's good , you've finished the song
i look , and you frown i guess it was too long
