Chad took the DVD from him and popped it into the television, settling on the couch next to his lover.
Byakuya might have grimaced or flinched at the cute animation that began across the screen, if such a thing benefited the dignity of a noble of his stature. A fanciful lion character began narrating the episode. "Is that… Ichigo's… artificial soul…"
"…"
"The stuffed animal is from this show?"
"It's a knockoff." It didn't sound like a criticism, so much as "but still cute".
Byakuya sighed and considered that the little jungle animals might be cute, if he appreciated "cute."
