The door creaks open, he steps inside lazily, tired from the day, still in his uniform he wanders upstairs and changes into some casual clothing, he shuffles into the living room and loads the fireplace full of kindling, he grabs the matchbook and ignites a match, the fire explodes into life, the fire begun to die down and he added some logs, it was then that he heard a small sneeze, he spun around startled, by relaxed to find it was only her, he asked "why didn't you light the fire if you're cold?" She responded with a quiet "I don't know." he stood up and picked her up from the corner, and begun to carry her closer to the fire, and then stopped, looked out of the large window that overlooked the lake, and noticed the view showing right now, and decided to set her down near the fire but close enough to see out the window, he sighed and sat down beside her, bundled up in those blankets made her look like a sushi roll, she shuffled closer to him and rested her head on his shoulder, he returned the favour by resting his head on hers, the sun dropped lower in the sky, causing the formerly blue sky to turn orange and red, creating a stunning visual to all who beheld it, as he started heating up, he removed his shirt, earning a small "oh" from her in return, his toned body glistening with sweat, we grabbed a towel, and cleaned of the sweat, and put on some old spice deodorant, not wanting to seem repellant. He sat back down with her and sighed, "are you still cold?",
"Not anymore" she smiled back, he relaxed a little more, his eyes slowly dropping, becoming tired he snorted waking himself up, looking up he saw the edge of the sun disappear over the horizon, he looked to her and sighed as he saw her sleeping, once again he picked her up, and carried her to her room, lay her down, and went to his room.
