Sirius woke to James shouting in his are, and quickly pushed the boy off the edge of his bed.
Looking around Sirius noticed the small pile of brightly covered boxes at the end of his bed, and wished his friends a Merry Christmas.
Reaching for the smallest one, Sirius quickly read the card and tore off the red wrapping. Peter had given him amount of chocolates and lollies, which he started straight away, while giving the small boy a large grin.
In turn Remus and James had each given him a present, both of them causing his spirits to soar.
Sirius watched James open his last gift, but as he noticed it was from Mrs and Mr Potter Sirius' spirits dropped below normal, and he couldn't stop the burning in his eyes and chest.
Sirius hadn't even received a Merry Christmas from his own Mother and Father.
