Chain of Hearts ~ By Crimson Sun

~

Scented like jasmine the things that you said

Enchanted her heart the snake in my bed

A thousand red roses you gave who was mine

A thousand dead stalks made one deadly wine

~

Wept for the 'seraph' that you could not save

And while you gave blossoms I dug her grave

Centuries of rainfall and centuries of flood

Mixed with our dreams dissolved orchids to mud

~

Presently no sun gives light to our sky

Lilac hues darken for you she and I

Sweep away petals and there you will find

The bouquet of flowers long wilted and pined

~

We close our eyes although we cannot sleep

They present lilies and none of them weep

Pink rhododendrons like we used to lust

Dead like our passions they're turning to dust

~

I gave her my vows to never apart

Then she to you doomed the chain of our hearts

A thousand white roses to you she and I

For thousands of lifetimes yet to come by

~

AN: Has nothing to do with the novel 'Chain of Hearts' by someone I cannot remember. (Gods, I hate that novel. They made us read it for English.)

Vincent, Lucrecia, Hojo's death through Hojo's point of view. The words Hojo said to Lucrecia 'we will never be apart', which later she said to Vincent, bonded the three together forever even in death. Ironic.
