AU/GB Fionna's parents divorced and she now lives with her absentee mother in Manhattan. She now has to take care of herself as well as try to handle being at a new school. How will her life play out from here? On top of the severed family bonds, she now has to juggle two completely opposite boys; the fabulous Aldo Prince and brooding Marshall Lee. Rated T for language and junk.

1. Chapter 1

AUTHOR'S NOTE

So, I know this is really lame of me... starting off my Adventure Time story with an Author's note as the first chapter. But I really just can't seem to give a damn. I want to make sure that we're all on the same page before you go on to read the story I'll be posting chapters of after this!

1) I am a college student with limited internet. There are classes I have to worry about and, if I don't update for a week or more, do not jump down my throat. Chances are I'm working on the chapter and trying to fine tune it, or my internet is out (which is highly likely because I always manage to use up all of it before it resets on the 23rd each month).

2) This is an Alternate Universe/Gender Bent fic (aka, AU/GB). So, I am taking liberties with it and exploring the characters of Adventure Time in a realistic setting. If it's not like the show, then I'm not sorry. The only way it will relate to the show is with the characters I use and the simple story lines regarding their relationships to each other and their personalities. There will be no Fire Kingdom, Candy Kingdom, etc.

3) I want your opinions! If you want to review, please do. I know that some of you may be people of few words, and that's okay. But if you have something you want to bring up about my story, please don't hesitate to do so. Thought out reviews are the best reviews.
