"'Oo is it?" Rumpelteazer breathed excitedly.

"Whoiy should Oi tell yoo?"

"Okoiy, Oi'll moike it easier fer ya. Oi'll guess. Is it Electra?"

"Nope."

"Etcetera?"

"Nope. Too boisterous fer me. In a queen, anywoiy."

"Jemima?"

"Not even."

"Not Jemima?"

"No."

"Wow, ya'd pass 'er up?"

"Oi thought yoo was guessin'?"

"Oh, roight. Um…if it's not Jemima…er…oh, yeah, is it Sillabub?"

"Nup."

"Don't tell me it's one of the older queens?"

"Don't be silly, Rumpers. Ya've forgotten someone."

"Oi 'ave? Um…let's see…it isn't Etcy or Leccy, it isn't Jemi 'n' not Sillabub…woit…ya don't mean ta tell me it's…?"

Mungojerrie nodded.

Rumpelteazer's eyes widened. "But – but she's got a tomfriend! She's goin' ta be moited!"

"Ya don't think Oi don't know that? Of course Oi know that. Ya see moiy dilemma?"

"But – but ya can't!"

"Whoiy can't Oi? Oi love 'er, whoiy shouldn't Oi troiy ta show 'er that Oi care?"

"Because she's toiken, that's whoiy not! Whoiy 'er, anywoiy? Whoiy not Jemi? She's gorgeous – ta the toms – 'n' she's avoilable. Whoiy did ya 'ave ta choose someone 'oo's toiken?"

"Oi dunno, Rumpers – Oi can't 'elp 'oo Oi fall in love with! Oi didn't mean fer it ta 'appen – Oi jes'…Oi…it just did!"

Rumpelteazer sighed. "Gee, ya do thin's the 'ard woiy, doncha?" she grumbled.

"Nevermoind orll that. Are ya gonna 'elp me?"

"Well…"

"Please, Teazer…Oi'm desperate ta know what ta do."

Rumpelteazer took one look at her brother's pleading eyes and relented with a sigh. "Aw…okoiy, foine. Oi'll 'elp ya."

"Oh, gee, thanks, Rumpers – yer the best sister a tom ever 'ad." Mungojerrie wrapped his sister in a tight embrace.

"Yeah, yeah, no sweat." She glanced at him curiously. "So, what's it loike? Bein' in love, Oi mean."

"Well, it's…oh, Oi dunno 'ow ta descroibe it…it's so…" Mungojerrie paused, struggling for words. "Everlasting Cat, it's ineffable. Love is ineffable."
