Jealousy of Aura

A/N: I think this is the day that I'm supposed to save some of my old stories:D Anyway, I've seen most of .hack/sign, with the exception of one or two episodes, so this fanfiction will probably be more accurate now. Hopefully. Unless I miss a detail from the few episodes I didn't see. Which is quite possible. Argh, I'll just start already.
CHAPTER 1
Tsukasa looked down at the beetle currently climbing up his staff. He leaned back comfortably against the side of Aura's bed, feeling hot and tired. He lazily closed his eyes, a light breeze blowing and letting his hair tickle his nose. He brushed it away irritably and opened his eyes again. He turned his head slightly and stared at Aura.
Aura's dress moved with the wind, as well as her hair. She seemed to radiate from a light glow, and Tsukasa smiled. Aura was his only friend. Aura was the only one who could truly understand him. And he wanted to wake her up. He wanted to have her sit beside him, to tell her all of his problems, and listen to hers. Speaking of which, that was why he was there in the first place. He had a problem.
"Aura, I know you can't hear me. And if you can, you can't respond. So, just listen. I need someone to listen. I have a problem." Aura's hand twitched slightly. Maho appeared at this moment, as if called to the place by Aura's movement. Tsukasa might not have realized it, but by talking to Aura, he had helped her awakening. Maho floated in the air, and listened to Tsukasa speak. Occasionally though, he glanced at Aura.
Tsukasa leaned against the bed, an extremely small smile gracing his pale face. "I have these feelings, and I don't know what to do with them. I'm so confused. I don't understand what they mean. Whenever I'm around these people, my heart feels fluttery. And my stomach gets wound into knots. I don't want these two to know this though." A light blush adorned Tsukasa's cheeks, and Maho looked at Aura, an expression resembling alarm crossing his face.
"These people, Subaru and Mimiru, I'd like to bring them here to meet you. They're both important to me. Though I'm not about to admit it to them. They're both nice girls, I think you'd like them. I hope you'll let me bring them here some time." Maho backed away from Aura, who was now glowing a very light red. Tsukasa must not have noticed it though.
"Thanks for listening to me Aura. You're so helpful. I think you've saved me, just be staying here." He left, and Maho floated near Aura, brushing hair away from her face. However, Aura's arm suddenly shot up and grabbed Maho's. Maho struggled to get out of Aura's grasp, but to no avail. Her eyes shot open, glaring angrily at Maho. She pushed him away and he fell to the ground.
Aura, filled with rage, floated off her bed. She was furious that not one, but two girls had tried to take away Tsukasa. She had fully awakened from her slumber. She had finally opened her eyes, and had a reason to leave her sanctuary. She had decided that she was going to kill these two girls.
After all, they were taking Tsukasa away from her.

A/N: Alright, just a few comments. And if you don't read this and complain, then I just won't pay attention to you. It'd be your own fault anyway. First of all, I know there are many spellings for Maho's name. I just decided to use the anime spelling since most people are familiar with that one. And yes, it's a short chapter. Don't whine about how you want more, that's just annoying.
