Hello! I am SkyeRockette and I'm working with my dear friend BatDarling to make this is awesometastic SYOC story!
Going back to the beginning, remembering the forgotten details...
...There were more people involved, more pieces to the puzzle...
"When Riku claimed he was on the Road to Dawn he wasn't far off. Not only are there seven pieces of light and thirteen pieces of darkness needed to open Kingdom Hearts, but there are several keys needed as well from the different paths." Master Yen Sid folded his hands on his lap.
"We've got all the keys we need!" Sora pulled out his Kingdom Key in example. Yen Sid shook his head.
"You do not understand. Sora, you are the Path of Light, your keyblade, Ultima Weapon, is the first of six paths. Riku has the Path of Dawn. While Xehanort is gathering his Thirteen of Darkness, we have the Seven Princess of Heart, and now we need the Six Paths of Keys to even the score; thirteen to thirteen." Sora nodded his head, thinking hard about what his master was saying.
"Where can we find them? And how will we know who they are?" Riku asked.
"You've met everyone one of them, most you've gotten fairly close to. Those who have the will of Kingdom Hearts in them are always drawn together."
"Well just have to go talk to all of our friends then!" Sora said excitedly. "We'll find them in no time!"
"Sora... you do realize how many friends you've made over the years, right?" Riku questioned. Sora pouted for a moment.
"All well! It'll just give me a chance to catch up with everyone again!"
So... technically that's not actually the story. Really that was our way of explaining the basics while getting to write a prequel of sorts. As Yen Sid said (in other words) we need four main characters! Submit your OCs folks! There is plenty of room for minor characters as well, so don't hesitate to submit! However, in order to earn one of the main spots we have to absolutely adore your OC... so good luck! Feel free to PM me with any questions!
We're hoping that this story will take place over the entire series! So it's up to you when you'd want your OC to enter. Depending on how this goes, we'll most likely be rewriting the entire series with the addition of OCs... but really it's up to you guys! If none of your characters make a difference in one of the games, we won't write it! This is obviously going to be a really long story and takes lots of time to plan out, but we can do it! Just please have patience with us!

For the Paths... we haven't completely decided what we want to do. Sora is the Path of Light, Riku is the Path of Dawn. We know we want a Path of Twilight... but we honestly haven't got a clue what to do with the others. We're thinking possibly Love, Friendship, Hearts, maybe even Darkness. You put down what you'd like or think would be good. Obviously we have the final say, but we'd like to hear your thoughts.
