BIOHAZARD: TYRANT
by Zak Cole

The helicopter pilot looked behind him, at the large tanks. They had words on them, but he couldn't read them from his distance away. He looked out the widow, below, and saw the carnage, a large truck overturned and on fire, virus carriers everywhere he looked. All he knew was that it was the work of his employer, Umbrella, in some way. And, he also knew that, whatever it was, the things inside the tanks were called Tyrant's.
Cute name, he thought.
He looked again before releasing the first tank. He watched to see what the cargo was, and was so terrified he pulled back on the yoke, and flew up, past the Raccoon City Police Station, going just as quickly as he'd come.

Claire Redfield had just gotten to the police station. She had come to the city alone, with the 'cycle, looking for her brother Chris, who she was starting to worry about.
Instead, she had come into a city full of...
Zombies?...
and had met Leon S. Kennedy, a police officer, his first day on the force. One hell of a day.
She was outside, near the entrance she had come through. A helicopter could be heard in the distance, although he couldn't explain it. She only knew that she had to put the fire out. to see what was behind this wreckage, the flames dancing closer and closer to her exposed legs.
She had found a valve of some kind in a nearby office (after a struggle with a small crowd of zombies) for the water tower overhead. She approached the tower, turned the valve, and after a few cranks the water started to pour over the wreckage.
Finally...
But, as she was about to open the door she had entered to this area from, something horrible happened.

The helicopter flew in, very low. Claire looked up in panic, in just enough time to see a large, red tank from the sky, and land very close to her.
After some hesitation, Claire opened the door, to see exactly what was inside the tank.

At first, Claire saw nothing. Debris was everywhere, so much so that when she stepped forward, the remainder of the roof fell through, blocking the door. After walking down the hallway some, she saw it.
It was a menacing creature, standing at least nine feet tall, with eyes as gray as it's trench coat. It stepped forward, the wooden floorboards creaking under it's weight.

She ran. She ran right past it, the thing picked it's arm up and slammed them down, but only hit air.
As she ran towards the doorway, she pulled out her shotgun, which she had "received" earlier, and opened fire on the creature. It stumbled back after a few rounds, and after five shots, it was on it's knees. She loaded the gun quickly, and fired one more round. It was face - down on the wooden floor. She breathed in deeply, and left the hallway.

Seconds later, TYRANT was on it's feet again...
