Author's Note: This is an Alice In Wonderland poem I thought of a few minutes ago. I have to thank Alysha because if it wasn't for her poem I wouldn't have been looking at the Alice in Wonderland stories. Thanks Alysha! Hope you like it! Enjoy, Read, Review!
The broken pieces begin to fall
I watch in horror at it all
The rabbit's running round the room
The queen's declaringMurder the broom'
My head is spinning, the clock just ticks
The Mad Hatter throws out his normal tea fix
The cat is frowning
I feel like I'm drowning
I just can't breathe, I'm so confused
This once perfect Wonderland has left me bemused
The catepillar quickly takes a drag
The flowers slowly, slowly sag
What's happening to this perfect place
The chaos continues in this small, small space
I woke up this morning, everything was okay
But something happened later in the day
The rabbit keeps running into the door
The queen ordersMore, wine, more'
The catepillar begins to look at me sharp
Child, won't you put away that harp'
I look at my hands, no harp in sight
I want this to go away with all my might
Wonderland was once so peaceful and nice
Now this is making me carefully think twice
It all began this after noon
I walked into my lonely room
The rabbit was running in circles around the bed
The queen was shoutingOff with his head'
They were all there, right in front of me
They were there, right there, real as can be
They were going crazy, insane, it's true
I hadn't the faintest idea what I should do
It didn't end, it all got worse
The cheshire cat got up and started to curse
My head wouldn't stop it could only hurt
The flowers' roots began to shake off dirt
My mind was blank, not a word to utter
My heart began to go a flutter
My Wonderland was slowly breaking away
Pieces had broken and fallen that day
Slowly and quietly they disappeared
First the queen who everyone feared
Second the rabbit with his ticking clock
Third the catepillar who the flowers would mock
Fourth the cat who was grinning, insane
Fifth the flowers who were complaining of rain
The Mad Hatter was gone in no more than a flash
Last the rabbit comes back in one small dash
He looks up at me, his clock ticking away
Your Wonderland was destroyed today'
He tells me in a voice, he's never had
I know' I tell himIt's ever so sad'
He nods at me then slowly fades
I say goodbye to all his shades
Today my Wonderland was turned upside down
Chaos ensued, upon my frown
I don't know what caused this sudden case
Maybe it was the downcast look on my face
My Wonderland came and pushed me to cheer
It made me happy to know they're not here
I'm glad I don't see them like that everyday
I'm happy they all went away
From now on they'll only be in my dreams
Sadly that's not how it always seems...
