Friends Forever
It was my first day in class and what welcome me is those students who treat their classmate like a criminal. I don't know their reason but base on what I see, I can say that the way they act is not good. I come in and my teacher introduced me.
"Mikan Sakura, please to meet you." I said then bow.
I keep on staring at her until my teacher said where I am going to sit. After that, my teacher said that he is going in a teachers meeting so, its free time. When he already slammed the door, the students become noisy and I think that others are chatting some kind of humor, but, I don't care because gossiping is not in my dictionary. I turn in my left and then I saw some student stand up and go in my place. I can say that some of then are showing some kind of smiles that can attract you if you look at them. But unfortunately it didn't affect me because I can tell if it's true or a fake, and looking at them, I can say that some of them are plastic. Now, what I'm telling before is that they approach me then introduced their selves.
"Hi! My name is Sumire Shouda, and this girl beside me is Luna Koizumi, nice to meet you" they said in chorus.
"What do you want?" I said raising my eyebrows that make them shocked. 'Am I to harsh to say those words? I don't think so.!' It took a minute before they response.
"Oh! We're just here to warn you."
"Yah! We just want to warn you that stay away to that ugly hag or else, or else your thing will disappear" Luna said pointing her index finger in my seatmate. I glared at them then said.
"Really? Thanks for your concern but…. I don't care." I said then most of the student in the room shocked.
"You'll regret what you've said" Sumire said but I just smile at her and said, "maybe not" now I can see in their faces that they are angry but I just continue reading my manga instead of minding those nonsense thing that they are saying until they leave.
It's already recess so most of the students went to the cafeteria with their groups but the girl before is still in her sit and I can say that no on approach her since this morning. I approach her then show my rare smile, smile that only my special someone can see.
"Hello" she look up, then I continues "nice to meet you. I'm Mikan and you are?" I said then offer my hand. She look in my hand for almost a minute or 2 until I said,
"Are you just going to stare at my hand?"
"Oh, sorry…. I just can't believe that you're here talking to me" she said and I become confused.
"Why do you think that? Am I the first person who talked to you? I said jokingly.
"Yeah!" she said, and then I was shocked.
"Is that true…. or my ear's just… heard it wrong?" I said still shocked so my word is like a little bit cut.
"You here it right" she just smile, and it's true. I can't believe she can smile in this situation.
"Sorry!" as I looked down.
"You don't have to worry its ok!" she smiles again.
"By the way, what's your name?"
"Do you really want to know?"
"Yeah.. Besides how can be you my friend if I don't even know your name."
"You mean--"
"Yeah"
"I'm Hotaru Imai, ice to meet you to" she said then holds my hands.
"Form now on, you're my best friend Hotaru" I said then hug her.
"You really want to become my best friend? What about the humor?"
"Yeah! And if your talking about is the humor this morning, I don't care, because you're now my best friend no matter what." I said showing her my angelic smile.
'Even if I just met her in an hour, I can say that I can trust her with all my heart.' I said to myself smiling while walking beside my new found BEST FRIEND!
