.:For the love of a princess:.

A/N: Ok, I am a HUGE Doyle/Cordy shipper, and I was watching the episode when he died and I knew I had to write this.

Doyle watched as Cordelia cried herself to sleep that night. He could still firmly feel her lips on his and knew that it would be their first and last. He sat for a long time after she fell asleep and watched her. He didn't notice for what could've been hours that someone was sitting beside him.

"You truly love her" said a misty voice from beside him. He looked and saw an Oracle sitting with him on her mantel.

"Yes, I do" he said, for it was no use lieing to the Powers that Be.

"Do you know of the way you can come back into this world?" the Oracle Sister asked.

"Yes" he replied, never taking his eyes off of Cordelia. He thought for a moment, thinking about all the horrors he would have to face, not to mention not seeing Cordelia for nearly five years, which would be longer in another demension.

"Are you ready?" the Sister asked him and he nodded. Then, suddenly, with no 'whoosh' or 'pop', he was moved into a room of black.
