Whilst this hasn't crossed over yet, it will be a Naruto/Bleach crossover…and maybe other things…depending on what kind of mood I'm in later.

Shadow of the Tesseract – A Naruto/Bleach Crossover, Prologue
The old man thudded against the wall, the sound of a rib cracking being a stark contrast to the damp noise of his punctured organs.
He slumped to the floor, the exhausted ninja unable to fight any longer. Sasuke was pleased, standing over him like a vulture waiting for it's meal to die.
The ninja felt his insides ache. He was utterly defeated, at the mercy of Orochimaru and his apprentice and it wouldn't be long before they would surely kill him.
Sasuke smirked, tossing the broken ninja's headband in to his lap as he lay there; the battered icon of the Hidden Village of Grass staring up at him, as if berating him for being so useless.
"I wonder if you're feeling inclined towards helping us now," Orochimaru said at the ninja, a sadistic gleam in his eye.
The beaten ninja coughed, almost amused. Did they seriously expect him to divulge his technique with them?
"I am Atsushi Kenichi of the Village of Grass and when-"
He was interrupted with a slap from Sasuke. It was a sharp sensation, a stinging in his cheek which utterly shocked the ninja. He was a ninja; he didn't get slapped…
…That was just humiliating.
He was about to protest when Sasuke slapped him again, this time with the back of his hand. Kenichi had been able to glance away the blow by turning his head, albeit not by much.
"I'll never tell you anything, you know!" He spat.
As if on cue, there was a slight laugh, accompanied with a blue flash and the sound of sparks from the ninja's left. Standing there, only a few feet away, was Kabuto. He seemed pleased, clutching two cables with bulldog clips attached to the ends. He touched them together, producing more sparks. He took a step forward, illuminating his sadistic face with the sparks, the glasses on his face a stark white, making him seem inhuman.
"Oh, you'll tell us," Kabuto said calmly, "Oh, the things you'll tell us…"

Author's note. I wont be having the character's using honorifics. They're speaking English (and yes, I will grant you that it's only so it's understandable) and I wont mix and match, as far as that is concerned.
However, I'll be keeping the original technique/jutsu names. They are names and therefore don't necessarily need translating. Besides, they sound better. If you're that eager to find a reason as to why they would, think of it as a tradition, of sorts.
Note 2 – I realised whilst writing this that at some point, I would have to decide on which order to do names in. I've stuck with the Japanese order (last name, then first). There was no particular reason behind this. I just had to pick one and the Japanese Naruto was here first. Shrug
Note 3 - This is my first posting, so I'm still learning my way around the quirks of the upload system and whatnot. Not only that, but there seemed to be a lot more text when I typed this in Word. Oh well. Chapter 1 is already in production, so wait and see...
Note 4 - Reviews are welcome, although I'm aware that my Bleach knowldge isn't as good as my Naruto knowledge. Please bear with me though as I'm working on that and I should be up to scratch soon. Flamers will be mocked.
