Innocent Bodies Illustrious Sorrow

Important A/N: Hey y'all! Here's a nice creepy Rurouni Kenshin poem for you angst lovers. Anybody tries to steal it and I'll hurt them. All right, this is probably a one-time thing, so.hope you like it. The poem doesn't actually mention Kenshin, but it's supposed to be his thoughts during the end of the Bakumatsu (is that right?) era.

Disclaimer: Rurouni Kenshin is not mine. So sue me! (Err, actually, please don't, that's why I'm doing the whole, 'disclaimer' thing.)

'It's everywhere.' Blood splattering my hand and clothes. I feel it dripping down my back and face. A sword, In my hand, A monster, Drawn from its sheath, Lays waiting to taste flesh. Bodies! No! Look at them! They're everywhere! Go away! Did I really kill them all? They were evil! I know they were. Evil, evil, evil. They wanted to kill the innocent. What were they? Demons? I stumble, A body, A dead solider. No! No! This cannot be! Not a boy, a child! No! I swear, it wasn't me! I did not kill this innocent, Surely he was evil to! Look around, The faces on the bodies, Children! No! These death's! This pain! It cannot come from me!
